Nautilus Microbiote is rich in 1-Monoglicerydes of Short and Medium Chain fatty acids, preserved by the rumen-biohydrogenation by a pH sensitive lipid protection that is broken in the abomasum.

1-Monoglycerides are released in the gut.

Due to their emulsifying properties, 1-Monoglycerides are easily transported in the intestinal aqueous medium and reach the deeper tracts of the gut.

Scientific literature reports beneficial effects of these compounds in at intestinal level.

In a study published on “American Dairy Science Association” some effects on bacteria affecting ruminants are reported (M. K. M. Nair M.K.M et al; 2005).
